TuneIn Radio Pro has many tools for working with radio station directories. The “Live” tab displays various broadcasts in news, sports, business, music, and more. The “Catalog” tab contains a rubricator of categories – they are divided into “Sports”, “Music”, “News”, “Local” and others. For example, in the “Local” directory, you can search for your favorite radio station closest to you, based on your location. In the “Language” tab, you can sort radio stations by your preferred language, from well-known languages (English, German, French, etc.) to exotic languages like Swahili. The “Talking” tab has its own additional filter to search for radio stations in business, technology, culture, books, children’s entertainment, and more.
TuneIn Radio Pro lets you search for radio stations by keyword, so you can find them faster and add them to your favorites. And if you really like a song, you can purchase it using the Google Music feature that’s integrated into the app. TuneIn Radio Pro also contains a lot of podcasts on different topics and in different languages. These are science, soccer, culture, technology, etc. Notably, podcasts, unlike radio stations, can be rewound.
You will need a stable Internet connection for the app to work successfully. Unlimited Wi-Fi or, in extreme cases, 3G/4G would be ideal, but you won’t have any problems in EDGE network either (but you will have to choose a lower bitrate). And if you have limited traffic, you don’t have to worry much – in one hour at 64 kbps TuneIn Radio Pro uses approximately 30 MB of traffic.
Another plus of this application is the possibility to connect your Android smartphone via Bluetooth or “jack” cable to your car radio. This way you can enjoy your favorite station or podcast anytime while driving your car.

Just so you know, your free ad version of this app won’t retain your username and pw. You need to set up a new one. I don’t know why this is the case though. I was pulling my hair out when it told me that my username pw was incorrect. So I tried it another phone with the ad version and signed out, signed back in. I had no problem.
