Path Finder is one of the best file managers, with a very well thought-out interface: tabs, preview of documents or audio/video files, process management, archive management, installation/removal of applications, ability to change system shortcuts, conversion of CD/DVD/BlueRay disc images, dual-pane layout and much, much more.

PathFinder is a substitute for the standard Finder and offers users such features as full keyboard navigation, built-in FTP-client, tabbed documents, customizable folder view, easy search and flexible file selection

The Path Finder interface looks very familiar: the same folders as the Finder, only with the addition of Safari-style tabs and more buttons. The navigation is the same as the Finder, but you can still use additional navigation elements such as tabs or links. Path Finder has incorporated the best elements of the browser, so if you’ve used Finder and Safari before, you’ll feel right at home with Path Finder.
