The aim of the game is to gradually make your way through locations strewn with the walking dead. You have to move forward, shoot enemies in the head and not let them near the character. Interestingly, the ward moves on its own, all we have to do is aim with swipes and shoot. There are also buttons for reloading, changing weapons, throwing a grenade and using the first aid kit.
The game offers over a hundred levels, several modes and a large selection of weapons. Assignments range from sweeping the area to freeing the hostages.
