Star Realms is an excellent board game for mobile devices, where the players are waiting for duels in real time. A large variety of spaceships, stations and interesting gameplay will help you dive into the world of space confrontations. The first thing you need to determine the side of the conflict, and then go on a journey across the vast galaxy.
Battles look interesting enough, each player has a personal deck of cards with ships, including two stormtroopers and eight scouts. The scouts are needed to get trade units, and the stormtroopers fight enemy ships. Research and trade ships are also available, differing in appearance and their purpose. Cards from the deck are drawn in random order, and the chance of both sides getting a great neutral is the same. Each turn the player is given five new cards to play. Trading points are needed to acquire new ships, and battle points, respectively, to conduct combat.
To win you must force your opponent to spend all influence points. Ships, as mentioned before, have certain characteristics, some have armor, others allow you to draw cards from the deck, and others increase the maximum damage you can inflict on your opponent. The game is interesting and quite ambitious, if you’ve played the tabletop version, be sure to try the digital copy.
