The main thing that the application is capable of is to create interactive slides containing a wide variety of information. First of all, it is text: a plain text block or auto-text, including date and time, slide name and number, table or document. But all this can be a normal Power Point, while Lectora Inspire is capable of much more – for example, it has a wide range of built-in photo characters that interact interactively with the user, making the learning process easier and more enjoyable.
Multimedia files are also available – you can add audio tracks of all popular formats as well as videos including gif, flash and even links from YouTube. Developing the concept of parsing information from the network, you can add that the user is able to embed in his lecture a full browser window containing any HTML-pages, links and other web data. In order to make the above mentioned functionality easy to use, the developers have taken care of adding the necessary navigation elements, interactive menus and progress indicators to the interface for the student.
