BusyContacts review

BusyContacts is a contact manager for macOS that allows you to create, find, and manage contacts in a faster and more efficient way.

BusyContacts brings the same capabilities, power, flexibility, and sharing to contact management as it does for BusyCal users in managing their calendars. What’s more, BusyContacts integrates with BusyCal to form flexible, easy-to-use CRM solutions that work the way you need them to. BusyContacts syncs with the built-in Contacts app on OS X and Microsoft Office and supports all leading cloud services, including ICloud, Google, Exchange, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.

Key features

Customizable Viewer.
Contacts can be displayed in two views: a single column list view or a multi-column table view, allowing you to control the parameters by which columns are displayed (e.g. company, last name, first name, email address, phone number, etc.) and sort order

Tags
Tags are an extremely flexible way of managing contacts in BusyContacts. You can assign multiple tags to each contact and the tag cloud allows you to easily filter your contact list by tags (e.g. family, customer, prospect, employee, etc.).

Smart Filters
Smart Filters are a powerful tool for filtering contacts and creating saved queries that can later be applied with a single click. You can create smart filters to display contacts that match certain conditions, such as text string, tag, or date of birth. You can create smart filters for “Remember Display Options,” such as the type of columns displayed and the sort order.

Social integration.
BusyContacts synchronizes with leading social networks, including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn, allowing you to integrate contact information from multiple sources into a single contact card.

BusyCal Integration
BusyContacts integrates with BusyCal, allowing you to link contacts to events and COPs in your calendar, providing flexible CRM capabilities for scheduling appointments, following up on tasks, and for tracking past activity.

The Activity List
The Activity List shows a chronological list of activities associated with the selected contact, including meetings, cancellations and other calendar events, email and messaging notifications, and social media posts.

Synchronization
BusyContacts syncs with all leading cloud services, including ICloud, Google, Exchange, and other CardDAV servers, allowing you to sync contacts with other Macs running BusyContacts or embedded Contacts on OS X, and with iPhones and iPads via embedded Contacts on iOS.

Sharing
BusyContacts allows you to share address books with other BusyContacts with read-only or read/write privileges. Address books can be synchronized with Exchange, Fruux, both over the local network and via other CardDAV servers that support exchange.

Whats new:

  • Improved support for 3rd party CardDAV servers
  • Added mail plugin support for macOS 12.3
  • Certain large emails with attachments are now skipped when loading the Mail timeline to improve performance
  • Fixed bug where editing a tag name would get interrupted at times due to an ongoing background sync
  • Ongoing stability improvements

Also recommended to you CyberLink PowerDVD Ultra
